Accounts Payable Specialist

About This Role

We need an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage our vendor payments and ensure smooth financial operations as we scale. You'll process supplier invoices, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records across our growing network of production partners.

What You'll Do

• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payment to suppliers and service providers
• Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve billing discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
• Prepare weekly payment runs and manage cash flow requirements
• Review and verify expense reports from team members
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and accruals
• Maintain vendor master files and W-9 documentation
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce payment errors

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of accounts payable or bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Xero)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Experience with invoice processing and payment reconciliation
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for financial tracking
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume transactions
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and procedures
• Strong communication skills for vendor relationship management

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-currency or international vendor payments
• Knowledge of sales tax compliance for e-commerce
• Familiarity with procurement processes
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business
• Experience with expense management platforms
