DevOps Engineer

About This Role

We need a DevOps Engineer to build and maintain the infrastructure that powers our custom merchandise platform. You'll ensure our systems are reliable, scalable, and secure while optimizing our deployment pipeline for rapid feature delivery.

What You'll Do

• Design and maintain our cloud infrastructure for high availability and scalability
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging systems for proactive issue detection
• Manage database infrastructure including backups, replication, and disaster recovery
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools
• Ensure security best practices across all systems including secret management and access controls
• Optimize system performance and cost efficiency across cloud services
• Participate in incident response and conduct post-mortems for service disruptions

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering experience
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins)
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation)
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Strong Linux administration and shell scripting skills
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, DNS, and SSL/TLS

Nice to Have

• Experience with PostgreSQL administration and performance tuning
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and edge computing
• Knowledge of CDN configuration and optimization
• Experience with Node.js application deployment
• Security certifications or experience with compliance frameworks
