Email Marketing Specialist

About This Role

We're looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to optimize our email program and drive customer engagement. You'll build automated drip sequences, design compelling campaigns, and turn subscribers into loyal customers through targeted, personalized email experiences.

What You'll Do

• Design and execute email campaigns including promotions, product launches, and newsletters
• Build and optimize automated email sequences (welcome series, abandoned cart, re-engagement)
• Segment our subscriber base and create targeted campaigns based on purchase behavior and interests
• A/B test subject lines, content, send times, and CTAs to maximize open rates and conversions
• Create email templates that are responsive, accessible, and on-brand
• Monitor email deliverability, list health, and compliance with CAN-SPAM and GDPR
• Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations
• Collaborate with content and design teams to produce high-quality email content

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of email marketing experience with demonstrated results in revenue growth
• Experience with email marketing platforms (Resend, SendGrid, Mailchimp, or Klaviyo)
• Strong understanding of email deliverability, authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and list hygiene
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email template development
• Experience with marketing automation and drip campaign design
• Analytical skills with ability to interpret email metrics and optimize accordingly
• Knowledge of segmentation strategies and personalization techniques
• Excellent copywriting skills for email subject lines and body content

Nice to Have

• Experience with e-commerce email marketing and lifecycle campaigns
• Knowledge of dynamic content and product recommendation engines
• Familiarity with Resend API and transactional email architecture
• Experience with SMS marketing integration
• Background in customer retention and loyalty programs
