Frontend Engineer

About This Role

Join our engineering team as a Frontend Engineer to build beautiful, performant user interfaces for our custom merchandise platform. You'll work on our product customization tool, shopping experience, and admin dashboards, creating pixel-perfect implementations that delight customers and drive conversions.

What You'll Do

• Build responsive, accessible React components using TypeScript and Tailwind CSS
• Implement complex interactive features for our product design and customization tool
• Optimize frontend performance including bundle size, rendering, and Core Web Vitals
• Develop admin dashboard interfaces for order management, analytics, and content management
• Implement SEO best practices including structured data, meta tags, and semantic HTML
• Write unit and integration tests using Vitest and React Testing Library
• Collaborate with UX designers to translate Figma designs into production-ready code
• Contribute to our component library and design system documentation

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience with React and TypeScript
• Strong proficiency in modern CSS (Tailwind CSS, CSS Grid, Flexbox, responsive design)
• Experience with state management and data fetching (TanStack Query, React Context)
• Understanding of web accessibility standards and semantic HTML
• Experience with build tools and bundlers (Vite, Webpack)
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and web performance optimization
• Strong attention to visual detail and ability to match design specifications precisely
• Familiarity with Git workflows and code review practices

Nice to Have

• Experience with canvas-based libraries (Fabric.js) or interactive design tools
• Knowledge of animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP)
• Understanding of server-side rendering and hydration patterns
• Experience with e-commerce platforms or product configurators
• Familiarity with Radix UI, Shadcn/ui, or headless component libraries
