Product Design Intern

About This Role

Join our design team for a 12-week summer internship where you'll gain hands-on experience creating designs for custom merchandise products. You'll work alongside experienced designers, contribute to real projects, and learn the full product design lifecycle from concept to production.

What You'll Do

• Assist senior designers with product mockup creation and template design
• Create social media graphics and marketing materials under mentorship
• Research design trends and compile mood boards for upcoming product lines
• Help maintain and organize our digital asset library
• Participate in design critiques and team brainstorming sessions
• Contribute to the design of new product category pages on our website
• Document design processes and create tutorials for common design tasks

What We're Looking For

• Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong eye for typography, color theory, and layout composition
• Portfolio demonstrating creative problem-solving and design fundamentals
• Eagerness to learn and receive constructive feedback
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Nice to Have

• Experience with Figma or Sketch
• Interest in fashion, merchandise, or custom products
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Social media design experience
