About This Role
We need a Quality Assurance Inspector to review finished merchandise and ensure every product meets our quality standards before shipping to customers. You'll develop inspection criteria, identify defects, and work with suppliers to maintain consistent quality.
What You'll Do
- Inspect finished merchandise for print quality, color accuracy, material defects, and construction
- Develop and document quality inspection criteria for each product category
- Track quality metrics and defect rates by supplier, product type, and print method
- Coordinate with suppliers to address recurring quality issues and implement improvements
- Manage sample review process for new products and materials
- Process quality-related returns and determine appropriate corrective actions
- Generate weekly quality reports for operations leadership
- Maintain photographic records of quality issues for training and reference
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of quality assurance or quality control experience in manufacturing, printing, or textiles
- Strong attention to detail with ability to identify subtle color and print variations
- Experience with quality metrics tracking and reporting
- Knowledge of textile materials, printing standards, or garment construction
- Good communication skills for working with suppliers and internal teams
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and digital documentation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical inspection tasks
- Problem-solving mindset with focus on root cause identification
Nice to Have
- Experience with custom merchandise or print-on-demand quality standards
- Knowledge of color measurement tools (spectrophotometer, colorimeter)
- Familiarity with ISO quality management standards
- Experience with photography for quality documentation
- Textile or garment industry background
