Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About This Role

We're seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build and scale our custom merchandise platform. You'll architect features that handle high-traffic product customization, integrate with print-on-demand suppliers, and create tools that empower our customers to design unique products. This is a high-impact role where your code directly drives revenue.

What You'll Do

• Architect and implement new features across our React frontend and Node.js/Express backend
• Design and optimize our PostgreSQL database schema and query performance
• Build and maintain integrations with print-on-demand supplier APIs (Printful, Printify, Prodigi)
• Develop the real-time product customization engine using canvas-based technologies
• Implement robust API endpoints with proper authentication, validation, and error handling
• Lead code reviews, set engineering standards, and mentor junior developers
• Optimize application performance, including Core Web Vitals and server response times
• Participate in on-call rotation for production issues and incident response

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of full-stack development experience with TypeScript/JavaScript
• Strong expertise in React, Node.js, and Express.js
• Deep experience with PostgreSQL and ORM tools (Drizzle, Prisma, or TypeORM)
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs at scale
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies
• Experience with performance optimization, caching strategies, and database tuning
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound technical decisions independently
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Nice to Have

• Experience with print-on-demand or e-commerce platforms
• Familiarity with canvas manipulation libraries (Fabric.js, Konva)
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for JavaScript applications
• Experience with Vite, TanStack Query, and modern React patterns
• Background in image processing or file manipulation
