    VP of Marketing

    About This Role

    We're seeking a VP of Marketing to lead our marketing organization and drive RareCustom's growth to $50M+ in annual revenue. You'll build and manage a world-class marketing team, develop our brand strategy, and own all customer acquisition and retention channels.

    What You'll Do

    • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategy across brand, content, paid, and lifecycle channels
    • Build, manage, and mentor a marketing team of 10-15 across content, paid media, email, social, and SEO
    • Own customer acquisition targets and marketing budget allocation ($3M+ annually)
    • Drive brand positioning and differentiation in the competitive custom merchandise market
    • Establish marketing analytics infrastructure and reporting frameworks for data-driven decisions
    • Lead product marketing for new product launches and feature releases
    • Build strategic partnerships with influencers, brands, and media outlets
    • Present marketing performance and strategy to the executive team and board

    What We're Looking For

    • 10+ years of marketing experience with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
    • Proven track record of scaling e-commerce or DTC brand from $10M to $50M+ in revenue
    • Experience building and managing marketing teams of 10+ people
    • Deep expertise across multiple channels: paid media, SEO/content, email, social, and brand
    • Strong analytical skills with experience in attribution modeling and marketing mix optimization
    • Experience with brand strategy and positioning in competitive consumer markets
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
    • MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred

    Nice to Have

    • Experience in custom merchandise, print-on-demand, or personalized products
    • Background in marketplace or platform marketing
    • Track record of building in-house creative teams
    • Experience with international market expansion
    • Public speaking experience at industry conferences
